Gastonia City Council Induction Ceremony Scheduled for Elected Officials
City of Gastonia announced that its recently elected City Council Members will be sworn into office at 6:00 p.m., Monday, December 1, 2025, in the Public Forum Room of the Gaston County Courthouse.
The Honorable David Phillips will preside over the Induction Ceremony for the swearing in of re-elected City Council member Jennifer M. Stepp (Ward 5) and newly elected City Council members Demetrios Koutsoupias (Ward 1), Glenn Silverman (Ward 2), and Angela Dreher (Ward 4).
A reception will follow the ceremony in the entry hall adjacent to the Public Forum Room of the Gaston County Courthouse.
The new City Council will hold their regularly scheduled meeting in the City Council Chambers at City Hall on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 6:00 p.m.
