Genesee Valley Indivisible One of thousands of local Indivisible groups, we are based in the Genesee Valley. Our mission is to rebuild our democracy and defeat the Trump agenda.

Our chapter was formed in March of 2025. We are a grassroots group of residents of the Genesee Valley in Western New York, based in Geneseo, New York. We have come together to resist autocracy in our federal government and welcome anyone -- regardless of affiliation with any political party -- who would like to join this cause. This page is managed by Genesee Valley Indivisible to share information, events, and calls to action that support democracy and civic engagement. The Midterm Election is incredibly important and on October 17th in Livingston County we'll be celebrating our right to vote. Election Day is November 3rd, but you don't have to wait until then--early voting begins October 24.
Why vote early? Voting early gives eligible voters more opportunities to participate and make their voices heard. It gives people time to deal with problems that could otherwise keep them from voting on Election Day. Voting early also gives communities more time to help neighbors, friends, family members, and coworkers make their own plans to participate. Many people view election day as a celebration of our democracy. Families, friends, and neighbors gather together to choose their leaders and to make their voices heard about their future and what our communities deserve. Voting early, in-person, is another option and has many benefits as shown here. Regardless of how you choose to vote, don't miss your chance to vote this year. Make a plan to vote! Questions? The Midterm Election is incredibly important and on October 17th in Livingston County we'll be celebrating our right to vote. Election Day is November 3rd, but you don't have to wait until then--early voting begins October 24.

The Midterm Election is incredibly important. Join us at the No Kings Early Voting Fair & Rally on Saturday, October 17 for a celebration of our right to vote! (Details in comments.)

ALL registered voters are eligible to vote, regardless of party affiliation. Double check your registration status and polling place at voterlookup.elections.ny.gov

Election Day is November 3rd, but you don't have to wait until then to vote! In Livingston County, you can vote early, in person, at the the early voting center in Geneseo. Voting during early voting works the same as voting on Election Day. When you get to the early voting center, you will check in to vote, receive your ballot, and vote. It's secure, fast and easy. Visit the Livingston County Board of Elections (6 Court St., Geneseo, NY) October 24 - November 1 to cast your vote in person.

You can also vote early by "early mail ballot" (also referred to as an absentee ballot). Any registered voter may apply for an early mail ballot. There are several safe and convenient ways to return your early mail ballot:
1) If you're voting by mail, take your completed ballot into the post office and ask them to postmark it for you.
2) You can drop your completed ballot off at the Livingston County Board of Elections (6 Court St., Geneseo). There's a locked, secure ballot drop off box inside the building by the entrance doors.
3) You can also hand your completed ballot to a poll worker during early voting or on November 3.
