Don’t take it from me. This is what a small business owner in Las Vegas had to say about the state of the economy right now:

“Everything costs too much. Gas, goods, everything has gone up a lot. And that’s why I think people aren’t going out, they’re not going out to buy, to eat. And so, we’re the ones paying the price.”

We deserve a President and leaders in Congress who will take this seriously.

“At one office, approximately 99% of HSI’s work was dedicated to immigration, leaving almost no capacity for fentanyl investigations.”

“A drug investigation team of seven agents was reduced to “two to three” because personnel were reassigned to work on immigration cases.”

“HSI’s fentanyl seizures also decreased by 39% in FY 2025 despite the DEA reporting several record-breaking fentanyl seizures.”

This is Homeland Security’s own investigation: 9 out of 11 Homeland Security Investigations field offices reviewed say their ability to fight fentanyl has been reduced because of Trump’s orders to focus on mass deportations.

While the Trump Admin. has been targeting working families and non-criminals, they’ve left federal law enforcement with fewer resources to combat dangerous drug traffickers.

Trump’s priorities are broken and out of step with the American people.

$826 – that’s how much more that average Nevada family has had to pay for gas since Trump started his war in Iran.

That might not matter to a billionaire like Trump, or his allies in Washington raking in millions from corrupt deals with this administration, but it makes a difference for workers here in Nevada. We deserve better.

The Russia sanctions bill passed with overwhelming bipartisan support. President Trump ignoring it so he can do a massive favor for Putin is insulting, un-American, and will only prolong the violent war in Ukraine.

The sanctions were part of a measure that was named after Senator Lindsey Graham, the South Carolina Republican who died in July.

Glad to have Arizona's partnership in our effort to defend our water.

Water cuts alone, applied only to the Lower Basin, are not a viable solution. All of the Colorado Basin states have to work together on long-term measures, including the kinds of conservation and recycling methods that Nevada has pioneered.

NEW: Arizona water managers said they will intervene in Nevada’s lawsuit over the federal government’s imposition of Colorado River cuts that could hamstring the West’s fastest-growing economies and most-productive farmlands.

Three children and one adult are dead, and even more are injured and traumatized today because of a senseless act of gun violence. There are no words for the pain and loss the families of the victims must be feeling. My prayers are with them, with the community of Bend, and with the police officers who responded to this horrific shooting. This cannot go on.
