ART ACHIEVEMENT
Top of TEAM is a highly distinguished honor in the TEAM (Texas Elementary Art Meet) program sponsored by the Texas Art Education Association (TAEA). This recognition celebrates outstanding young artists across the state through both physical and digital awards. Congratulations to our talented students who earned medals in Top of TEAM! We are incredibly proud of your creativity, hard work, and artistic excellence.

A special congratulations and thank you to Mrs. Espinosa, our amazing Art teacher. You continue to inspire our young artists and provide opportunities for them to showcase their talents and soar beyond the walls of our classroom. Thank you for encouraging creativity, confidence, and a love for the arts in our students each and every day.

PRIDE OF TEXAS MUSIC FESTIVAL
Rayburn Rockstars Choir represented with excellence at the Pride of Texas Music Festival, earning the highest rating! We are so proud of our students for showcasing their incredible musical talents and dedication. Through performances like this pre-UIL judged festival, our students continue to grow in confidence, creativity, and performance excellence while proudly representing Rayburn Elementary STEAM Academy.

Congratulations to Mr. Fierro, our amazing students, and our supportive families for making this achievement possible. Thank you, Mr. Fierro, for providing opportunities for students to express their musical gifts beyond our four walls and out into the community at competitions.

FIELD
DAY!
A huge thank you to Coach Richard and everyone who helped make Field Day such an incredible success! From the exciting events and friendly competition to the laughter, smiles, and memories made with families, it was truly a special day for our school community.

Most of all, we are so proud of our students for the heart, joy, sportsmanship, and teamwork they showed throughout the day. Watching our students cheer each other on, encourage their classmates, and simply have FUN reminded us what makes Rayburn so special. Thank you to everyone who helped create such a positive and memorable experience for our students and families!

Teacher appreciation week was phenomenal!

Our teachers felt truly loved. We would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to the PTA, families and students that made this week so special.

Ask a Scientist
Students in the Hydroponics Club have incorporated visuals and information from their research and investigations into their display. They also created a QR code in the cafeteria where students can submit additional questions, allowing club members to continue their research and follow up with answers.

SEAL OF BILITERACY
Students in 5th grade were celebrated at the Seal of Biliteracy event for their accomplishments in Credit by Exam testing and for earning credits in Spanish I, Spanish II, and Spanish III. Our campus had the second highest number of elementary students recognized for this achievement.

A special thank you goes to our 5th grade teachers and all of the bilingual teachers on our campus for their dedication to developing students’ reading, writing, and speaking skills in two languages. We also want to thank our families for attending the event and for continuously supporting their children in becoming bilingual learners.

These students have an amazing future ahead of them, and we are incredibly proud of their hard work and accomplishments!

PRINCIPAL CELEBRATION - THERE WAS NO "BEAT"ING IT
A special thank you to all of the families, staff, and students for the amazing celebrations on Friday in honor of National Principal’s Day! I was absolutely blown away by all of the Michael Jackson performances! From Thriller, to Jackson 5’s ABC, to Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’, every performance was full of energy, talent, and fun.

I have always loved Michael Jackson’s music because it just makes you want to dance, and with the movie recently being released in theaters, it was the perfect timing for such a fun celebration. What made my heart the happiest was seeing everyone singing, dancing, laughing, and simply enjoying being together.

It is truly a blessing to serve Rayburn each day and work alongside such an amazing school community to do incredible things for kids. Friday was unforgettable and definitely made me feel so “HAP-HE-HE!” Thank you for making the day so special!
