Join us this Saturday, June 6th, at the Herrick District Library from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. for a Behavior Workshop led by Sarah Feaster. Sarah Feaster is a Social Worker and a parent of children with Down syndrome. This workshop is designed for parents and caregivers seeking practical strategies to encourage positive behavior in their school-aged children with Down syndrome. We will address common challenges like transitions, emotional regulation, and refusals, offering supportive, relationship-focused techniques. The workshop also highlights the importance of self-care, offering simple, realistic ways caregivers can sustain their own well-being while supporting their child.
