This morning’s travel gem was all about saving on flights, but we'd be remiss not to pause and acknowledge what’s happening across the Caribbean right now. 💛

Moments like these remind us how deeply connected we all are, not just as travelers, but as people. The Caribbean, especially the beautiful shores and vibrant cultures of places like Jamaica, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Cuba, and the Bahamas, means so much to us, and they will always have our support!!

Our hearts go out to everyone being impacted by Hurricane Melissa:
- Jamaica, where the storm is making landfall and the risk of catastrophic flooding and landslides is extreme. (Time)
- Haiti and the southwestern part of Hispaniola, already facing heavy rain and flash-flood threats. (CBS News)
- The Dominican Republic, where damages and disruption are mounting. (New York Post)
- Eastern Cuba, which is under hurricane warning as the storm tracks that way next. (Houston Chronicle)
- The southeastern Bahamas and Turks & Caicos, which are in the path of severe impacts as Melissa moves onward. (Newsweek)
