🌼Hey everyone! I have noticed we have gained some new followers so wanted to chat quick about group. 🌼Also word of mouth is huge for this group so please share or invite your friends that you think would love to be a part of this.
My name is Kaitlin Bernardo, and I am a police officer at GRPD. I run a program called CLEAR, which is for women on parole/probation, coming out of incarceration, in their sobriety journey, or just need some positive women in their lives. This is a personal page ran solely by me focusing on the women in my group mostly and the amazing resources around the county.
We meet in the Grand Rapids community every week however I service women in all of Kent County! I go into the Kent County jail every other Wednesday to meet with the girls inside as well. I focus on running the group with love, nurturing and non-judgmental support.
I have numerous girls breaking generational cycles, staying clean and accomplishing dreams they never thought possible.
🌸I have had numerous speaking engagements about CLEAR and have often had people reach out wanting to support. I love bringing in resources/groups from our community to share/speak.
🌸I often take women's clothing donations. All sizes but currently only spring/summer. Please make sure they are clean, stain free and modern styles.
🌸I am currently building a small food pantry to help some of my ladies getting back on their feet. I have an Amazon wish list if you want to donate towards that. It has some basic shelf stable foods; some hygiene needs and also some baby needs. I recently had an increase in younger moms who occasionally need diapers/formula.

Reposting our CLEAR Amazon wish list. There are things I like to keep on hand for emergencies. I just got an amazing clothing donation yesterday (Thank you Teresa!). I am slowly switching the closet over from winter to spring!
I have recently learned some of my girls are going without eating some days due to lack of funds for groceries. I have added some foods I can keep on hand in the closet that will keep for a bit. Any help at all is amazing and I am so appreciative of all of you! It takes a village for sure 💚
I also have a couple females with small babies/children so would love to collect a package or two of diapers size 1-6.
Not at all picky with brands! A deal is a deal!

Another successful trip to Redeemed Style! The girls were spoiled and scored some super amazing outfits! We celebrated Bernadette’s birthday with cake and ended the trip with Wendy’s.
Super thankful to Melissa, Misha, Aimee and Mary who helped the girls today!
I got to babysit our CLEAR twins while their mama shopped ❤️
