We had a great meeting Monday night! Chancellor Doug Jenkins explained Amendment 1 to us which is on the ballot in November so we can make a wise decision when we go to vote. Great information! We also heard from our State Representative David Hawk with updates on the state legislature. And great meal prepared by our caterer..

The America First Federated Republican Women will have their monthly meeting this coming Monday, October 12th which starts at 5:30pm. Join us at the VFW Post 1990 on Harlan Street. We are honored to have as our guest speaker Chancellor Doug Jenkins. He will explain the amendments that will be on the ballot in November we will be voting on. Great meeting Monday night! Rhonda Humbert explained about “Shop with a Cop” which is our Caring For America project this quarter. The stories were so sweet and heartwarming. We also heard from our Greene County Sheriff David Beverly who spoke about the work that his office does for us. He told us how much he appreciates all the deputies and their dedication to their jobs. Both speakers were gracious and answered numerous questions from our members. Our State Representative David Hawk also encouraged everyone to go out and vote Republican in November!!

America First Federated Republican Women will meet next Monday, September 14th at the VFW Post 1990 on Harlan Street. Our guest speaker will be Greene County Sheriff David Beverly. We start serving our meal of lasagna, tossed salad, garlic bread and dessert at 5pm. The meeting starts at 5:30pm. Please join us for a great evening. We welcome all Republican women and men.
