Illegal Dumping!! Looking for information related to the dumping of a camp trailer on Glendale-Holly Road. Appears to have been dragged to this location and left around 2pm today.

We are working some leads with area property owners but would appreciate any additional information. Call my cell phone at 9367075659

A friendly reminder to check in with the Justice of the Peace, if you owe them a fine.

We are all working to hold people accountable for crimes, which sometimes involves serving warrants for the seemingly minor things. 😔

Please take care of your fines. Atleast, contact them to set up a payment plan.

FYI: names omitted this time. 🤠

🚨 Six Heroes. Six Families Forever Changed. 🚨

Looking at this image ought to make every one of us stop and think.

In June alone, six first responders were killed in roadway-related incidents. Every one of them put on a uniform to serve others. Every one of them had family and friends expecting them to come home. They never did.

As Sheriff, I’ve worked countless traffic stops and crash scenes. I can tell you there is nothing more unsettling than feeling vehicles fly by just a few feet away while deputies, firefighters, EMS personnel, tow operators, and highway workers are trying to do their jobs.

Please remember this:

Move Over. Slow Down.

It isn’t just the right thing to do. It’s Texas law.

If you see emergency lights ahead, safely move over into the next lane. If you can’t safely change lanes, slow down significantly. Those few extra seconds could save someone’s life.

This isn’t about avoiding a citation.

It’s about making sure another family doesn’t receive the knock on the door that changes their lives forever.

Let’s honor the memories of these six heroes by changing our driving habits today. Give first responders the room they need to serve safely.

Move Over. Slow Down. Save a Life.

Because someone is waiting for them to come home.

EVERY LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER KILLED IN THE LINE OF DUTY THIS JUNE HAS DIED IN A ROADWAY INCIDENT

It happened during traffic stops. At crash scenes. While assisting stranded motorists.

These officers weren't engaged in a pursuit. They were simply doing their jobs—protecting the public.

The Move Over Law exists for a reason. It's not just a law—it's a lifesaving responsibility.

When you see emergency lights, tow trucks, or first responders on the shoulder, move over if you can. If you can't, slow down.

Put the phone down. Stay alert. Pay attention.

One simple decision could save the life of a deputy, police officer, firefighter, EMS provider, tow operator... or a fellow driver.

Move Over. Slow Down. Someone is waiting for them to come home.
