What's the legacy of Sheriff Gahler going to be? Harford county government settled a wrongful death of shooting a man having a mental health crisis, insurance paid for some of this, in fact Patrick Vincenti Harford County Council President crowd is crying about paying the family even though a trial a jury award could have far exceeded the settlement.

Now the NAACP is dying the county, the sheriff, and the jail warden for frankly indifference in their care of prisoners. These individuals either accused of a crime or see in time on minor offenses are not deserving of the death penalty. Now we as tax payers face the cost of defense and settlement. At the same time we see proof of denying religious services to inmates? Did this denial lead to deaths?

Why did the sheriff's office make a rule banning directors and above from "secure" areas of the sheriff's office? Can civil leadership not have an oversight of the county's primary law enforcement agency?

This lines up with Mr. Gahler's letter to the leadership of Saint Margaret's preventing a Harford county director from ministering to the incarcerated. The county jail is known for having issues with self harm, is limiting religious services freely provided contributing to this?

It's interesting that the Havre de Grace decoy museum has received a consistent 80000 to 85000 dollars of tax payer support since 2018 or so. More interesting is Patrick Vincenti Harford County Council President is listed as a director at large. Decoys are his business and assumably his passion, but in my opinion have a narrow scope of public interest. Is it fair to subsidize such a narrow scope museum with a significant influx of tax dollars? Is it appropriate for ab elected leader to sit on the leadership team of an organization on the dole?

Big time question as it was Pat Vincenti who wanted to continue funding Visit Harford over $600000 a year without proper reports to the public of how money is spent.

Harford County Public Schools and the Harford County Sheriff's Office consistently complain about funding but why when you put the numbers together do they get consistent increases of budgets year by year for over a decade?

Numbers don't lie and with nearly a billion dollar combined funding they should be doing pretty good. Perhaps leadership should look for running lean and cost savings like six sigma

Visit Harford ordered to pay Harford County Government $266,100.06

Looks like the visit Harford corruption is over where tax dollars were mislaid. It was sad when they engaged a political operative to assault Bob Cassilly for cleaning house.

Why is Chas Hagan For Harford - County Council District C relying on a seemingly bitter candidate for Bel Air Town commissioner reposting the opinion of someone highly connected to a developer engaged in the Wetlands deal?

It seems like Chas Hagan is tied to developers and so push for further development of Bel Air. Maybe another quagmire like the Hickory Flats?

So glad the council voted to ban data centers. But when did they know? We know for a fact that Patrick Vincenti learned of this at a minimum of July of 2025.

Now we know that Allison Imhoff learned of this by the fourth of March of 2026.

This letter shows how the developer of the data center tried to sell this to Allison "AFL-CIO Endorsed" Imhoff as well as trying to sell this botched idea to The Harford Land Trust.

The issue I take is this is so far two cases of our elected officials lying to us by omission. When voting on June 23rd send a message and vote for Bob Cassilly for county executive and Stephanie Flasch For Harford County Council for council district B

Ahhh Mountain branch developer Bill Vasilakopoulos trying to get into the back door of county council with it is email to Allison Imhoff. Let's all hope that Allison didn't listen to this email...

Also his proposal for a major development and retail space in the property, totally not allowed in Ag zoning. In current zoning he might be able to build 9 single family residences on large averages but perking would be an issue.

It's time to step up and tell developers no more back room deals. The data center idea is dead and buried and if you ever want to build that development with DR Horton they need to take care of major infrastructure in that area, the developer should be responsible for building and funding water, sewer, electric, fiber optic, schools, parks, road upgrades, and a maintenance fund. Further no more ecological disasters like Ridgely reserves.
