ONE WEEK away from our annual open house

Join us Saturday 10/24 10a-1p at the Public Safety Building (35 HMS Essington Drive).

🍔 For the second year, Wahlburgers will graciously be bringing their food truck for some much needed lunch options.

🍦 This year, Nona’s is stopping by with delicious treats.

🚗 We’d also like to thank Express Towing for donating a car for our vehicle extrication demonstration once again.

Parking in rear lot / Police side. Please note that the MBTA lot is pay to park. Enter through police station, or make your way safely around the building via walkways to the Lincoln St side for the fun.

Keep an eye out on our social media for continued updates or announcements.

Overnight on September 13th, we responded to reports of a possible petroleum leak from a vessel at the Shipyard Marinas. Acting quickly out of an abundance of caution, the FIre Department deployed a containment boom around the boat to protect our local waterways.
Upon inspection, we found some petroleum product in the vessel’s bilge, some of which may have accidentally discharged while rainwater was being pumped out. Thankfully, this was not a large-scale release, though the trace amounts in the water were unrecoverable.
Check out this aerial shot of the scene taken this morning with our Skydio X10 UAV, which helps us safely monitor and assess situations from above!
