The other evening, I had the opportunity to speak before the City Commission as part of my reappointment to the Community Development Advisory Board.

I shared how meaningful this role is to me, not only as a board member, but as a resident who understands firsthand the importance of investing in our neighborhoods, supporting working families, seniors, and ensuring resources reach those who need them most.

Community service has always been a passion of mine. Whether through my volunteer work, neighborhood advocacy, or board service, I believe in listening, working together, and helping create positive change for the residents of Hollywood.

I remain committed to being a strong voice for our community, supporting responsible growth, improving quality of life, and ensuring that our city continues to be a place where families can thrive.

Thank you to the Mayor, Commissioners, City Staff, and residents for the opportunity to continue serving. It is an honor I do not take lightly, and I look forward to the work ahead.

Today, we pause to honor the heroes who never made it home.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend, it is a day of remembrance for the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to protecting our freedoms will never be forgotten.

As we spend time with family and friends, let us take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of this day and express our gratitude to those who paid the ultimate price for our country.
