With great dismay, we must announce that the borough has delayed the swings installation in Central Park until next year. Currently, PPP volunteers are pooling resources to offer guidance to the parks and recreation committee so that the swings installation and the progression of the remainder of the playground can commence as soon as possible. We will keep you updated as we learn more.

After all our hard work this past spring and summer, the swings will be arriving soon and, before we know it, they’ll be installed at Central Park!

We want to invite the entire community to join us as we break ground for the new swings!

The exact date is still TBD, but we expect it to happen within the next few weeks. Be sure to sign up for the People’s Playground Project mailing list so you’ll be among the first to know when the date is announced.

Visit www.peoplesplaygroundproject.com to sign up!

This will be an incredible opportunity to come together, celebrate everything we’ve accomplished, support the Playground, and maybe even lend the construction crew a little help along the way. :-)

We can’t wait to see everyone there!
