Founded in 2006 by Robin Schultz, BluffParkAL uses the power of social media and the Internet to spread the word about our little corner of the world, Bluff Park in Hoover, Alabama. Heather Skaggs joined the team later that same year as our main writer in Heather's Corner, a blog covering stories about Bluff Park life and it's history. Those stories turned into 3 books published by Arcadia Publishing (Images of America Bluff Park, Images of America Hoover, and Images of Modern America Riverchase). The BluffParkAl .org page has information about events, schools, businesses, and much more. Catch our live streams via Facebook Live from across Bluff Park. Make sure to turn on your notifications! In 2017 we launched "Live Love Shop Bluff Park" to engage the community to support, shop, and eat at local Bluff Park businesses boosting awareness, visibility, and sales to the small businesses in our neighborhood. Due to numerous complaints, as well as recent injuries, the Hoover Police Department wants to make you aware of these different types of vehicles and what Alabama law states about each.

From scooters and e-bikes to pocket bikes, motorcycles, golf carts, and low-speed vehicles, the laws vary significantly. Knowing where each vehicle can legally operate, what requirements apply, and what safety precautions to take is essential.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 The safety of your children and your family is our top priority. We encourage parents to review this information with their children and make sure everyone understands the laws before heading out for a ride.

We all missed the art show this year but here is a chance to support local Alabama artisans including some from Hoover.

The Alabama Craft Guild’s 53rd Annual Fine Craft Show is almost here. Join us October 31–November 1 starting at 9:00am at the Vestavia Hills Civic Center for a weekend celebrating Alabama’s finest makers.

Explore handcrafted pottery, jewelry, woodwork, fiber art, glass and more — all created by artisans who keep our state’s craft traditions thriving. It’s the perfect chance to meet the makers, shop local and support the arts.

Free admission and parking. Bring a friend and make a day of it.

See you Saturday at Grace on the Bluff - 2211 McGwier Drive in Bluff Park!
In the event of rain, Grace on the Bluff will be held inside the church fellowship hall.
Donations (no heavy furniture, please) are still being accepted today (Friday) from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the fellowship hall.
