Rice Coalition will be hosting our next SFA event this Saturday, January 24th, from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. Come join us in creating peanut butter and jelly sandwich lunch packs that will help combat food insecurity in the greater Houston area! We hope to see you there :)

Are you looking for a rewarding way to engage with the local Houston community? Do you enjoy working with children?

Make your afternoon count! Join Rice Coalition on Hunger and Homelessness to pack yummy sandwiches and lunch packs to donate to a local shelter with local middle schoolers! Transportation will be provided.

Our first session this semester will be this Friday, January 23rd from 3:45 - 5:00 PM at Lanier Middle School. Please email Cedric at [email protected] with any questions.

Join us for annual Homelessness and Hunger Education Panel by Rice Coalition this Thursday (tomorrow) from 7-9 PM in Sewall Hall 309! Hear from and ask local experts questions about food insecurity and housing injustice! There will be FREE Velvet Tacos!! Open to all students—don’t miss it!

We will be hosting a bake sale fundraiser this Friday from 1:00 to 4:00 pm in the RMC!

Stop by to grab something sweet from 85 °Bakery. All proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to help fight food insecurity in the Greater Houston area!
