Dr. Karen Engle answered the call and came out of retirement to serve as interim Superintendent when the district and students needed trusted and effective leadership. Last night, by a unanimous vote, the Board of Trustees has made her the sole finalist to be the next Superintendent. Dr. Engle is a product of CCISD and has been an asset to the community she has tirelessly served. Many thanks to Dr. Engle for her continued service and dedication!

Dr. Dan Hochman will heed the calls of parents, teachers, and students to replace the STAAR testing program. Why? Because he is a teacher AND a PTA dad who knows it doesn't work. Let teachers do their jobs by giving them the resources and time they need to do them well... and by keeping politics OUT of our classrooms.
