The Pearland Entertainment and Beverage Coalition (PEBC), a broad team of business leaders, community builders, and elected representatives committed to repealing the 51% Rule and keeping our entertainment dollars in Pearland.

“With the huge submission of signatures from dozens of local businesses and hundreds of residents, Pearland has sent a powerful message that it wants the chance to vote on our economic and entertainment future. Both supporters and opponents of the 51% Rule deserve to finally decide this question at the ballot box.” 🗳

We are proud to announce that yesterday we turned in approximately 18,000 signatures at the conclusion of the 51% petition drive. We want to thank everyone that signed, donated, and volunteered to help us complete this monumental task - including dozens of local businesses and hundreds of residents who collected signatures.

Previously, only efforts headed up by big corporations have been able to put forth the time and manpower needed to be successful. This major grassroots effort proves the Pearland community is ready to reform outdated, 1890s alcohol laws. Our goal has always been to let the citizens of Pearland vote on the future of our city, and we hope with this submission that they will be able to do so very soon.
