Happy Thanksgiving from The Shelby Family!! We’re working hard putting up Christmas decorations here. We have a tree up and lots of other special decorations. Some of the blue dishes you’ll see here belonged to my husbands grandmother. The green dishes were my grandmothers! I purchased little “smokers” directly from Germany. They smoke off incense. I even ordered this cute little sign that translates to Merry Christmas in German. I ordered it from a woman who makes and ships from Germany on Etsy. I love the little German touches because my dads side of the family were original german settlers in Fredricksburg so it’s special for me to have these things. I miss my dad so much every time we visit and remember lots of great memories coming here as a child. I hope you can visit The Shelby Haus soon and feel all the love we’ve poured into this home!!!
