REMINDER: Astronomy in the Park TONIGHT (6 to 9:30pm)

Ready to see the universe in a whole new way? Come out TONIGHT (June 13) for "Astronomy & Microscopy in the Park" at Rustic Oaks Park and explore everything from microscopic critters in a drop of water to planets and stars shining in the night sky.

🔬 Microscope exploration: Starts at 6 p.m.
🔭 Astronomy viewing: 7–9:30 p.m.

Microscopes and telescopes will be set up and ready to enjoy at this FREE event, perfect for kids, families, and anyone curious about what the world looks like up close.

🪐 Plus, look to the west-northwest about an hour after sunset for a special view of brilliant Venus near bright Jupiter as the two planets appear close together in the evening sky.

TONIGHT: Special History Tour at White Linen Night!!

While enjoying the art, music, and festivities of White Linen Night this evening, take part in a unique opportunity to explore League City's rich history.

Visit League City's Historic District Tour: White Linen Night Edition features 24 self-guided stops throughout the city's charming downtown area. For White Linen Night, the experience becomes even more engaging as the League City Historical Society places special markers at each historic site, allowing guests to learn more about the people, places, and stories that shaped the community.

Access the tour through the Visit League City app or online at VisitLeagueCity.com. There will also be small cards available at the event (they look like the graphic pictured) with a QR code on the back that links to the tour.

WHITE LINEN NIGHT PARKING MAP 🚗
Tomorrow is the big day!!! Our 5th annual White Linen Night – An Art Affair on Saturday, June 13!

We expect thousands of attendees to come out for an evening of art, music, food, and fun, and we want everyone to arrive and park safely.

Parking in the Historic District is limited. We encourage everyone to review the parking map (pictured) in advance and consider using the free shuttle service from City Hall, located at 300 W. Walker Street. Shuttles will run continuously from 4 to 8 p.m.

Free parking is also available at League City Elementary, located at 520 E. Walker Street.

👉 White Linen Night is FULL. The City is no longer accepting vendors.

👉 Vendors for any events hosted by the City of League City (July 3 Fireworks, Harvest Fest, EcoFest, Nutcracker in the Park, etc) must use the City of League City official website to fill out a vendor form and will communicate directly with a CITY EMPLOYEE.

👉 City employees will NEVER post to Facebook events or groups from their personal accounts asking for vendors.
