Meyerland Residents,

The Meyerland Community Improvement Association is holding elections for eligible 2025-2026 Board of Director seats. Elections will occur at the Annual Meeting, tentatively set for Monday, October 27, 2025 (more details to come!).

If you are interested in joining this dynamic group of dedicated community leaders, please submit your intent via the Meyerland website.

It is important to note that to have your declaration and biography included on the ballot, your submission must be received by 5:00 pm (Central time) on Thursday, September 18, 2025. Any declarations received after that date will be considered write-in candidates and will not be on the ballot.

Did you hear? Meyerland will be celebrating National Night Out (NNO) on Tuesday, October 11!

The NNO organization normally schedules the event on the first Tuesday of October (October 4), but this year that is the start of Yom Kippur.

So, we moved the event back a week. Let’s get out and visit with our neighbors the evening of Tuesday, October 11!

SWMD - HTX COLLECTS Houston Solid Waste Management has launched HTX Collects, a mobile app that will allow residents to stay better connected with the City’s waste and recycling collection programs.

Please note that the City’s Solid Waste Management will be picking up trash and recycling on the holiday schedule, meaning for Meyerland, Tuesday’s regular trash/recycling will be on Wednesday, instead.
