Every Generation Deserves to Live Free. This email is MUCH LONGER than others we will be sending out, just FYI. at the end of this email. Seriously. Super easy.
This was an email that was sent out recently describing everything we're doing, and what you can do, to help Ron Paul win the Texas GOP Primary:
Friend,
We here at Youth for Ron Paul at UH want to thank you for signing up for our email list. This one is long because it summarizes our group's primary objectives, as well as what you can do to help us achieve them. ALSO I strongly encourage mil
itary veterans who support Ron Paul to read the "P.S." Listed in order of priority:
Objective: TABLINGS!
• This is the face of our group, and for many the face of Ron Paul. This is how we gain members, and this is how we achieve all of our groups other objectives. What You Can Do: Sign up for tablings & print flyers.
• We need energetic and knowledgeable people to help spread the Ron Paul's message of Peace and Liberty on the following days from 10am to 2pm:
o Thursday, February 16, 2012
o Monday, February 20, 2012
o Wednesday, February 29, 2012
o Monday, March 05, 2012,
o Wednesday, March 21, 2012
o Monday, March 26, 2012
o Tuesday, April 03, 2012
o Wednesday, April 11, 2012
No doubt, it is an effort to take time out of your busy day to participate in a tabling, but I promise you that it is a fantastic experience talking about important issues with your peers. If you can’t make it, it would still be a huge help if you could print and post the attached flyer around campus. There will be a new one each week. We try to make it as convenient as possible (shifts, breaks, etc.). Objective: Registering Volunteer Voter Registrars
• This plan is one of our more ambitious, but it also has the potential to be one of the most fruitful. We have a goal of registering 2 or more volunteer deputy voter registrars for every county bordering Harris (since UH is a commuter school). These counties are:
o Galveston
o Chambers
o Liberty
o Montgomery
o Waller
o Fort Bend
o Brazoria
o Harris
As a volunteer deputy voter registrar, you will have the legal ability to register people to vote. This is not a huge commitment, I promise. All you have to do is get in touch with your county voter registrar (unless we already have) and show up for the 5-30 min registration/orientation process. YOUR ONLY OBLIGATION after this is to return the voter registrations you have received within 5 business days. The purpose of this objective is twofold. First, obviously, it will enable more students at UH to vote for Ron Paul in the Texas GOP Primary on April 3rd. The second purpose is to cultivate good will with the student body and faculty. I do not know of any other student organization that is doing this, so being the first/only ones doing it will be a great community service. What you can do: Go register as a volunteer deputy voter registrar.
• YFRP@UH has been in touch with many of the surrounding counties and they are very receptive to our coming and registering. If you can, find your county in the list below and contact them about getting signed up:
o Galveston:

Objective (TENTATIVE): Operating a shuttle service to the Texas GOP Primary on April 3rd
• This is the ultimate goal but it is still in the planning stages and depends immensely on the level of participation. What You Can Do: TABLINGS! About Meetings:
We understand that many of you cannot make the group meetings. That is perfectly okay. From now on, we will summarize our meetings in (much briefer) emails so that everyone can be on the same page. If we have a ton of independent initiative, the meetings will be nothing more than a formality, though it would be great to get to know everyone at one of the following meeting times:
• Wednesday, February 22, 2012
5:30 PM - 7:00 PM in UC Big Bend (Rm 279)
• Wednesday, March 07, 2012
5:30 PM - 7:00 PM in UC Tejas (RM 238)
• Wednesday, March 21, 2012
5:30 PM - 7:00 PM in UC Tejas (RM 238)
• Wednesday, April 04, 2012
5:30 PM - 7:00 PM in UC Tejas (RM 238)
• Wednesday, April 18, 2012
5:30 PM - 7:00 PM in UC Tejas (RM 238)
If we have additional meetings, we will send out an email. Again, thank you for your interest in YFRP@UH. If you have any questions/comments/complaints we can be reached at [email protected]. You can also find us at www.Facebook.com/YFPUH. For Liberty,

Congratulations Ron Paul!

If you like Youth for Ron Paul at UH then be sure to like the Young Americans for Liberty chapter at UH as well. The fall semester is JUST around the corner and we'll need all the help we can get to continue spreading the message of liberty around campus!

The New Capitalists: Islamists' political economy - 05 - 2012 - Comment and opinion - News and media
In the aftermath of the Arab uprisings, Islamists or religious-based activists are poised over the coming years to take ownership of the seats of power in the Arab heartland. They have already won majorities of parliamentary seats in a number of countries, including Tunisia, Egypt and Morocco, and w...
We all did some great things this semester. A moment is never wasted when spreading the message of liberty.
Once the rest of this country learns about the loving and elegant political philosophy we, as a movement, espouse, I have no doubt that we will have the wind at our backs as we challenge and defeat those who seek power for power's sake.
Thank you all for your help and interest throughout this semester. We have achieved much.
