Todays Guest Speaker was Royal ISD Superintendent, Rick Kershner. Superintendent Kershner updated everyone on the upcoming RISD Bond Proposal. He was very informative.

Yesterday was the West I-10 Chamber of Commerce January Networking Luncheon at Tad's Louisiana Cooking in Katy! We had a great group enjoying some fantastic cajun cooking and fun networking! We will definitely do this again!

What a fantastic wrap-up of our Chamber year! We had a record-breaking turnout for our December Luncheon sponsored by Republic Services at the fabulous Hemi Hideout! Thanks so much for our guest speaker Waller County Judge Trey Duhon! His state of the county update is always so informative.

Brookshire EDC, coordinator Mike Barnes introduced today’s speaker, Matteson Hamilton Executive managing director and partner with Empire West.
Mr. Matteson stated they started back in 2019 and challenged themselves to bring a market-leading industrial project to the area. They wanted to position themselves to take advantage of what was headed our way.
Now three years later they have nearly 3.5M sq. ft., with phase one, 1M sq. ft. 100% occupied and phase 2, 2.4M sq. ft. is 65% leased.
He then spoke on of WINIX, Warfor and HEB being located on the property with announcement to be made shortly of another well-known company.
