I keep being asked what a libertarian democrat is...

A libertarian democrat is a democrat who believes in increasing individual liberty, and who focuses on those areas in which individual liberty is most threatened -- civil liberties, voting rights, the prison-industrial complex, and military expansionism -- as opposed to the typical myopic focus on economic issues that we traditionally see from right-wing psuedo-libertarians and neo-cons.
