What an awesome time attending the Pitre Boyz Field and Fun Day today at Stafford High School, put on by Houston Texans safety Jalen Pitre and the Pitre Boyz Foundation, headed by Coach Rick Pitre.

The kids had an absolute blast, enjoying a day full of fun, fellowship, and an amazing football camp featuring several other players from the Houston Texans.

It’s always inspiring to see organizations like this pouring into our youth, creating opportunities, building confidence, and making a real impact right here in Fort Bend County.

And, of course, snagged me a Trill Burger and fries to go! 😋

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success for our community!

I’m truly honored and deeply humbled to receive the full support of ANOTHER one of my Democratic primary opponents from the March 3 election — Eric Lister.

On Election Night, before the results were even finalized, I picked up the phone and personally thanked Mr. Lister for stepping up to serve our community beyond the important work he already does as a dedicated member of law enforcement.

Although we didn’t have an opportunity to share many lengthy conversations on the campaign trail, when we finally connected, we were able to talk about our shared commitment and excitement for the future of Fort Bend County, the faith that guides us, and the importance of family.

As I’ve said before, I will always appreciate endorsements — but when someone believes in your leadership enough to publicly encourage others to trust you as well, that means even more to me.

Mr. Lister is a dedicated public servant who carries a quiet strength, deep sincerity, and a genuine heart for service. I truly look forward to seeing him continue making an impact in our community, whether in elected office or beyond.

From the moment Mr. Lister told me he would fully support me and the campaign on Election Night in March, until present, he has consistently offered encouragement, thoughtful insight, and prudent advice — and for that, I am sincerely grateful.

I'm truly honored and deeply humbled to have the full support of Mr. Pedro Valencia, one of my Democratic primary opponents from the March 3 election.

On Election Night, before the results even came in, one of the very first things I did was pick up the phone and call Mr. Valencia personally. I thanked him for running a clean and respectful race and for stepping forward with a genuine desire to serve our community. During that conversation, he shared kind words with me that I will never forget. What stood out most was the sincerity behind every word. It wasn’t political rhetoric — it was genuine, heartfelt, and rooted in a shared love for our community, faith, and family.

And before anyone asks…no, we are not twin brothers 😂 However, we are absolutely brothers united in the shared goal of building a better Fort Bend County and a better nation for everyone.

Listen...Endorsements are always appreciated, but what means even more is when someone believes in your leadership enough to publicly encourage others to trust you as well. That level of confidence and support carries a different kind of weight, and I do not take it lightly.
