One of our favorite traditions here at Lindsey is each year we create a Wall of Honor to show our appreciation for our Veterans. If your family has a Veteran you'd like to honor, please go to https://forms.gle/FrfcFEZJYKcvCbYG8 to fill out the form and upload one photo of your Veteran. If you have more than one Veteran in your family to honor, please repeat the process.

All photo submissions are due by Friday, October 30. Because our wall is complicated to produce and hang, no late submissions will be included.

Third-grade students participated in Computer Lab Innovation Day, where they learned about Microsoft Word and its creator, Bill Gates. Students completed a creative writing assignment called “Superhero Me,” where they imagined themselves as superheroes and described their superhero name, special powers, and how they would use their powers to help others. Students practiced their typing and Microsoft Word skills while expressing their creativity by experimenting with different fonts and text styles to personalize their assignments.

In Innovation computer class, Fifth-grade students learned about Microsoft Word and its creator, Bill Gates, while practicing typing, formatting, and editing skills in Microsoft Word. Students then designed their own dream video game and created a written game description that included their game name, main character, special powers, villains or enemies, and the goal of the game. To complete the project, students explained how players would win the game while using their creativity and Microsoft Word skills to bring their video game ideas to life.
