Great monthly meeting today with almost the full board in attendance (Joseโ is still hospitalized) and our legal counsel also included. Discussed topics included Officer Appreciation week next month and winning a case where an individual was (IMO questionably) indicted for a Use of Force. Plus I had a fruitful discussion with our local lead counsel regarding the Comp time issue and new strategies we could employ to move the SO from their position.
Tomorrow afternoon is our quarterly meeting with the SO Command staff. Iโm ready with a list of items to improve our conditions; financially, physically, and mentally.
