Did we read that correctly 🧐🤨

Sure did!

The same politicians censoring what students can read are pushing a Bible-based curriculum into classrooms — and using our taxpayer dollars to do it.

Public school districts across Texas are being offered a financial incentive if they adopt the state’s Bluebonnet Curriculum. Bluebonnet’s English Language Arts and Reading (ELAR) curriculum has been widely opposed by educators, parents, and students for embedding biblical teachings into lessons, privileging Christianity over other religions, and erasing history about slavery and the Civil Rights Movement.

Since adopting Bluebonnet is optional, we’ve created a resource that you can use to urge your school district to reject the Bluebonnet ELAR curriculum.

Our public schools shouldn’t have to choose between imposing state-sponsored religion and getting funding their students need and deserve.

TEXANS: Protect our right to vote by becoming a poll monitor.

Poll monitors are trained volunteers who observe, report, and help address problems at polling locations over a 3-hour shift.

Join us for a virtual training session TONIGHT. Spanish interpretation is available.

You can help protect our right to vote. Nonpartisan poll monitors in Texas ensure eligible voters know how to cast their ballots and that their votes are counted. Training is short and simple: Watch the recorded training and take the quiz. Whether it's your first time voting or your tenth, the proce...

Another Texas man has died in ICE detention.

Emiliano Andrade-Covarrubias lived in Dallas for decades and worked as a contractor painting homes.

He had a heart condition, diabetes, and high blood pressure. While in detention, the 56-year-old father was denied his medications and was found unresponsive in his cell.

He is the second person to die in the Laredo ICE facility this year.

The death was confirmed by U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar, who said the 56-year-old Mexican national was found unresponsive in his cell. He’s the seventh person to die while detained by ICE this year.

“365 Days of Camp East Montana” — an art exhibition created by activists and former detainees — is bringing national attention to the dehumanizing living conditions at Camp East Montana in El Paso.

For over a year, people have endured unhygienic conditions, medical neglect, guard violence, and degrading treatment at this detention camp located on the Fort Bliss military base.

This cruelty must end, and we and partners are suing to ensure that happens.

Groups, organizations, advocates, and leaders can email [email protected] to schedule an appointment to visit the installation.

NEW: We’re urging a federal judge to end ICE’s continued abuses at Camp East Montana.

For over a year, people have endured unhygienic conditions, medical neglect, guard violence, and degrading treatment at this detention camp located on the Fort Bliss military base.

Following expert reports of a deficient and dangerous healthcare system, groups are seeking immediate relief for dangerous conditions, including medical neglect, violence from staff, and inadequate access to food

Grand Prairie ISD has a problem with actors gender-bending roles in a play about... *checks notes*
..a giant plant that can talk and craves human blood.

Got it, got it.

Cancelling a play because you don’t want a girl to play the lead is unconstitutional. Period.

Ana Mota was thrilled when she landed the lead role in her high school’s production of Little Shop of Horrors. Then she learned the district was taking away her part.
