Angel Diaz had cancer 2×. She was dx at 5 yrs old. she's fought long and hard. Angel also had a bone marrow transplant and this is her story.

Her fight for life� She's 16. yrs old now and in remission, we are still picking up from the life of cancer . Angel Rose Diaz was Re-Diagnosed with High Risk Acute Lymphblastic Leukemia on December 23rd, 2016, on her 9th Birthday. She was in Remission for a total of 20 months. Grateful for the heartfelt prayers and positive vibes sent our way. She is now back home awaiting further evaluation with her primary care physician, who will then determine the specialist she'll be working with.

I am Angel's mother, and as I sit here with her in the hospital again, I would like to acknowledge the numerous individuals who have been following her story and extend my heartfelt gratitude. Our journey has been characterized by numerous challenges, yet it has also been filled with remarkable moments. I am deeply grateful to God, Texas Children's Hospital, and the exceptional medical team who played a pivotal role in saving her life.
