Why I Founded the Kiki Aguero Advocacy Group Inc.

This organization was born from the pavement—from the quiet corners of the city where I once stood unhouse, unseen, and unheard. I didn’t start this work from a boardroom or a textbook. I started it from lived experience. From the ache of navigating systems that were never designed to help me rise. From the countless moments I needed support and found only silence.

I know what it means to survive without shelter. To walk through the world carrying invisible burdens. To be told to wait, to prove, to beg—for dignity, for care, for basic human rights. I’ve lived the reality of being unhouse, not because I lacked strength or vision, but because the systems around me lacked compassion and access.

But I also know what it means to rise. To reclaim my voice. To turn pain into purpose. And to build something that didn’t exist when I needed it most.

The Kiki Aguero Advocacy Group Inc. is my answer to that absence. It’s a space where lived experience is honored as expertise. Where justice is not just a word, but a daily practice. Where we meet people exactly where they are—with legal support, housing navigation, creative empowerment, and radical care.

We serve those who are unhouse, disabled, marginalized, or simply trying to survive systems that weren’t built for their healing. We draft legal letters to protect tenant rights. We coach clients through housing and care processes. We design advocacy campaigns that blend bold messaging with emotional truth. We host healing-centered events that remind people they are not alone.

This work is personal. It’s legacy-driven. It’s rooted in the belief that every person deserves to be seen, supported, and celebrated—not just for surviving, but for daring to dream beyond survival.

I founded this organization to be the bridge I once needed. To ensure that no one has to walk the path I did alone. And to remind every person we serve: your story matters. Your healing matters. Your future is worth fighting for.
