Well, I lost my bid to be the next Sheriff of Harris County to the incumbent Ed Gonzalez. I congratulate Sheriff Gonzales on his victory and wish him success.

While team Knox lost this race we are not defeated.
My team, volunteers, precinct chairs, family and friends worked very hard. I thank all of you for your efforts.

On the upside the Republican team made progress in the judge races.

I want to leave each of you with a lesson I learned from observing our new President Elect, Donald Trump. You are never defeated until you surrender.

We lost this race but it is just an obstacle to restoring Harris County to some degree of sanity. Work through the obstacles. Never stop pushing and continue to Fight! Fight! Fight!
