Commissioner Miller is right.
A nation cannot solve a spiritual crisis with politics alone.
The argument being made is simple: when faith declines, moral foundations weaken. Laws can punish crime after it happens, but they cannot change the human heart. Strong families, personal responsibility, and a commitment to biblical values have long been viewed by many Christians as essential ingredients for a healthy society.
For generations, churches played a central role in shaping communities, teaching right from wrong, encouraging accountability, and helping people find purpose beyond themselves. Many believers argue that when those influences fade, the consequences are eventually seen throughout culture.
The conversation goes far beyond elections or political parties. It touches on questions about faith, morality, family values, crime, community leadership, and the future direction of America. More people are asking whether rebuilding the nation's moral foundation is just as important as rebuilding its economy.
Christians believe true transformation begins when people turn back to God. Stronger communities are built by stronger families, stronger convictions, and a willingness to live according to biblical truth instead of the shifting standards of culture.
Whether people agree or disagree with the statement, one thing is clear: the role of Christianity in America remains one of the most debated and influential topics in the nation today.
