PATH OF THE LORD. PSALM 25:4-5. SECTION 6.
Walking in God's path does not mean the journey will be smooth and easy. The devil will throw challenges to push people out of God's path. We should remember that the path of the Lord is always narrow, and with any little error, a person may fall out of God's path.
Things that will cause someone to fall out of God's path.
1) Not trusting in the Lord enough: In God's path, there will come a time when it will look like the vision and purpose of God will never come to pass. It will seem nothing is happening or the person is wasting his time. Those who don't trust in the Lord enough will fall out of the path.
Some will lean on their own understanding. Some will try to do it in their own way. Some may think God is not fast enough and want to fast-forward the whole purpose. some will say let them help God. By doing all these things, they enter into error and fall off.
The Bible says: "Then the Lord answered me and said: Write the vision and make it plain on the tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time. But in the end, it will speak and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry" (Habakkuk 2:2-3).
No matter how long it takes, as long as the person is in a right standing with the Lord and trusting in the Lord, God's purpose will surely come to pass at the appointed time. No devil can stop it.
The Bible says: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart. And lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6).

PATH OF THE LORD. PSALM 25:4-5. SECTION 5.
In our last sections, we discussed God's mercy and grace dwell in the path of the Lord. The next one is the goodness of the Lord.
The Bible says: "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever" (Psalm 23:6).
Those who walk in God's path are righteous. Anyone who walks in God's path is principled. Only in the path of the Lord one is counted righteous. Outside His path, one loses his integrity or morality.
When anyone walks in God's path, it means the person believes in God and God's will for his life. Those who believe in God are in a right standing with God and are surrounded by God's righteousness.
Abraham heard the word of God, believed in His word, and followed God's path for his life, it was accounted to him for righteousness because he met righteousness in the path of God.
The Bible says: "For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. For Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness" (Romans 4:2-3).
The Bible says: "For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him" (2 Corinthians 5:21). When anybody believes in Jesus Christ and follows His path the person will surely encounter righteousness and will become righteous. Outside the path of Jesus Christ, there is no righteousness no matter how good the person plays.
There is no sin in following God's path for your life. However, there is mercy, grace, and goodness in following His path every day.
God said in Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope". Future, hope, good thoughts, and peace materialize when we follow His path and will for us.
Everyone who followed God's path and will in the Bible was successful. Success is not only about money but the accomplishment of a purpose, and this purpose must be the will of God. One may not have enough money, but if he is fulfilled it is a success.

PATH OF THE LORD. PSALM 25:4-5. SECTION 4.
The Bible says, "Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need" (Hebrews 4:16). As I said in the previous section, God's grace is found in the path of the Lord, and there dwells His presence.
The throne of grace is in the presence of God, and those who come there must drop their own will and path. They have to accept the will and the path of God for themselves, by doing that, they will obtain mercy for the wrong path they had followed in the past, and they will receive grace to accomplish every task in the will of God for their lives.
This is the problem. Many come to God with their own will and path which is not from God for them. At the same time, they ask God to give them grace to accomplish their own will. By doing so, they will not obtain God's grace because God does not waste His grace on something that is not His will.
They entered a career God didn't call them into. Started a ministry God didn't call them into. Anything we do that is outside of God's will for us is our own will and path. When trouble comes, God's grace will not be found to tackle the problem no matter the amount of prayer the person prays.
This is what the Bible said in the Book of James 4:1-3 "Where do wars and fight come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? You lust and do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasure".
They ask amiss because it is not God's will and path for them. This makes their prayer inappropriate or out of place before God.
I have heard that a Christian gives God a full package description of a man or a woman she/he wants to marry in a church as a prayer point. This is a lack of knowledge and out of place.
We don't bring our will to God rather God brings His will to us. Who are we and how old are we to command God? It is disrespectful and lack of fear of God.
The Bible says: "Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us"(1 John 5:14). We have to understand, if it is His will and path, He hears us, and the Bible says: "Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplication" (Psalm 130:2). But if it is not His will and path, His ears close and He doesn't hear.

Father God, help me to discover your will and path for my life in the name of Jesus Christ.

PATH OF THE LORD. PSALM 25:4-5. SECTION 3.
The Bible says: "Now therefore, I pray, if I have found grace in your sight, show me now your way, that I may know you and that I may find grace in your sight. And consider that this nation is your people" (Exodus 33:13).
The Bible says: "The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way" (Psalm 37:23). Following God's path leads to coming into contact with His grace.
God's grace is found in the path of God. Wherever you see God's grace there is also His presence. The same power of God is discovered in His presence. The Bible says: "His brightness was like the light, He had rays flashing from His hand. And there His power was hidden" (Habakkuk 3:4). It is difficult to operate with God's grace outside the path of the Lord.
The grace of the Lord is 24/7 available in the path of the Lord to accomplish every task. What the person needs to do is reach out for His grace and accomplish the task.
The Bible says: "Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me, and He said to me, my grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness" (2 Corinthians 12:8-9). Even though he was weak, he was in his path and God's grace was there to strengthen him.
When any person discovers the path of the Lord for his marriage, (His path in marriage is to marry the right person) his grace is there to accomplish every task. When any person discovers the path of the Lord for his career, the grace of God is there to accomplish every task. When anybody discovers the path of the Lord concerning anything for his life, God's grace is always available there to get the task done.

PATH OF THE LORD. PSALM 25:4-5. SECTION 2.
Let us be honest and speak the truth to ourselves. Many Christians walk in man's and the devil's paths. When a Christian cannot forgive, he walks the devil's path. When a Christian disobeys the word of God, he walks the devil's path. When a Christian becomes too religious, he walks the man's path.
Religion makes a man put all his faith in spiritual items and in man's dogma rather than in Christ Jesus. Their faith is in oil. Their faith is in water. Their faith is in what a man taught them that cannot be found or has no backing in the holy book. Many Christians are too religious and lack character. A man who is deep in religion has zero morals.
Man's path is too religious and controlled by principality. The Bible says: "Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principle of the world, and not according to Christ" (Colossians 2:8).
The basic principles of the world have been controlled by principality, and the word of God is against those principles. There are many things we have normalized as a way of life on this earth in reality, the word of God is against them.
Many who call themselves Christians cannot experience the mercy of God, grace of God, and goodness of God because they are not walking in God's path though they claim they are Christians.
When a man walks in God's path he will surely experience God's mercy, grace, and goodness. These three things are found in the path of God.
The Bible says: "All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth. To such as keep His covenant and His testimonies" (Psalm 25:10). Many lack God's mercy because they are not walking in His path. If someone is doing what God didn't tell him to do, God's mercy will never be found there.
Hear this. Find God's path for your life, in marriage, career, and in all you do surely you will find His mercy, grace, and goodness there. And it makes your prayer point few.

PATH OF THE LORD. PSALM 25:4-5. SECTION 1.
A path is a way, direction, road, or track laid down for walking. Every path leads to a particular place and has been laid down or constructed by someone for people to walk through it.
In this world, the devil has his path, man has his path, and God has his path. They have constructed a way for the people of this world to walk.
Some people have chosen to walk the path of the devil, others have chosen to walk the path of man, some have chosen to walk the path of God, and others never made any choice but found themselves walking one of those three paths.
The path of the devil is so wild and many have found it. The path of man is so wild and many have found it. The path of God is so narrow that only a few have found it.
The Bible says: "Enter by the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it, because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it" (Matthew 7:13-14).
When people walk through the path of the devil, it leads to destruction. When people walk through the path of man, it leads to destruction. When people walk through the path of God, it leads to life.
There is life in the path of God. There is joy in God's path. There is peace in the path of God. There is fulfillment in the path of God. There is safety in the path of God. There is eternity with God in the path of God.

FORGIVENESS. MATTHEW 6:14. SECTION 4.
The Bible says: "Take heed yourselves if your brother sins against you, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times in a day returns to you, saying, I repent; you shall forgive him" (Luke 17:3-4).
Just because we are told to forgive one another does not mean we should condone sin. When someone sins against us, we should be bold enough to inform them. Doing so brings the person into repentance and saves the person's soul.
When we let the person know, it means to rebuke the person. It is done in love. The Bible says: "But speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head, Christ" (Ephesians 4:15).
However, if the person makes an argument when we rebuke him, we should still forgive the person. It shows kindness and love. The Bible says: "And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:32).
The Bible says: "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). This Bible verse is not for everyone. Not everyone who confesses their sin receives forgiveness of sin especially if the person is holding unforgiveness toward another person.
This is what the Bible says also in the Book of Matthew 6:14-15 "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses". Remember this we don't pray and also answer it. The level of one's forgiveness determines the level he receives from God.
The Bible says again in the Book of Luke 6:37C "Forgive, and you will be forgiven". The same method one uses toward another, the same will be used toward the person. The Bible said in the Book of Matthew 7:2 "For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you".
Let go of unforgiveness and receive forgiveness. One cannot hold onto unforgiveness and also receive forgiveness. Life in Christ Jesus doesn't run that way.
Forgiving someone does not mean you must trust the person with all your heart again. Remember, we don't put our trust in men but in God alone.
Any Christian who lives a life of forgiveness will always win every battle that comes his way. Forgiveness is the power to defeat evil. When anyone forgives, it shows the person also loves because love does not keep a record of wrong.1 Corinthians 13.
Those who don't keep a record of wrong are pure in heart. Those who are pure in heart shall receive a blessing from the Lord. Psalm 24:1-5.
I bring this teaching to an end. May the Lord bless you in the name of Jesus Christ.

Father God, protect my heart in the name of Jesus Christ.
ROCK OF GOD PROPHETIC AND TEACHING MINISTRIES.
FORGIVENESS. MATTHEW 6:14. SECTION 3.
The Bible says: "In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His grace" (Ephesians 1:7). Every Christian has received forgiveness from the Lord, and any Christian who does not forgive is selfish and self-centered.
Selfishness and self-centeredness lead to self-righteousness. The Bible says: "Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interest but also for the interest of others" (Philippians 2:3-4). Those who hold onto unforgiveness never look out for anybody's interest. It is all about them all the time.
Those who are self-righteous don't have the love of God in their hearts, and they don't love their fellow human being. The Bible says: "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, as I have loved you, that you also love one another" (John 13:34). They lack love in their hearts, and it's the reason they cannot forgive. They don't care about anybody. It is all about themselves.
This makes them spiritually blind, spiritually dead, and carnal. A carnal mind is enmity against God. For is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be said in the Bible in the Book of Romans 8:7.
Many Christians are spiritually blind. Many Christians are spiritually dead. Many Christians are carnal all because they are holding tight to unforgiveness. Any Christian who is spiritually blind, spiritually dead, and carnal is in a messed-up situation (full of problems).
The Bible says: "

FORGIVENESS. MATTHEW 6:14. SECTION 2.
The Bible says: "Be angry, and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your wrath" (Ephesians 4:26). Sure, we should be angry if something terrible happens, but we should not extend our anger until the next day.
Anyone who sleeps over his anger has exposed his soul to danger. The Bible says: "He who digs a pit will fall into it. And whoever breaks through a wall will be bitten by a serpent" (Ecclesiastes 10:8).
Sleeping over anger exposes a man's soul to a serious attack. The Bible says: "But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way" (Matthew 13:25).
As a man sleeps over his anger toward another person the devil will damage and inflict the man's soul with all kinds of evil. What does the devil plant? bitterness, frustration, depression, struggle, sickness, deception, stagnation, any evil he can lay his hand at. He plants these things through s*x in the dream, eating in the dream, drinking in the dream, smoking in the dream, and through other ways.
Also, anger is not the only reason why men eat in the dream, drink in the dream, smoke in the dream, and have s*x in the dream.
So by withholding forgiveness and choosing unforgiveness, the person may think he is hurting the other person when in reality, he is hurting himself.
The Bible says: "Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassion fail not. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness" (Lamentations 3:22-23).
When someone holds another person on the ground not to move he is also on the ground with the person at the same spot. By God's mercy, the person he is holding on the ground can stand up and move forward, and he who holds the person on the ground will continue to cling to the ground and no longer the other person. It is one of the things that happens when anyone refuses to forgive.
The person who forgives benefits much more than the person who receives forgiveness. One of the ways the devil inflicts a man's soul is to cause another person to offend the man, to drag the man to hold onto unforgiveness toward the other person. Anyone who holds onto unforgiveness toward another person is destroying his life.
It is the selfishness of any person to...

FORGIVENESS. MATTHEW 6:14. SECTION 1.
What is forgiveness? In layman's terms, forgiveness is to stop feeling angry toward someone because the person offended you. The primary thing to do and achieve forgiveness is to stop feeling angry because of offense.
Though you talk about the offense, saying it is a terrible thing to happen, provided the person is no longer angry toward the person who has been forgiven. Forgiveness has been achieved. But if talking about the offense will cause the person to become angry, the person should stop talking about it and maintain his forgiveness. This is the simple way to understand forgiveness and how it works.
Now, let us get deep. One of the biggest problems with Christianity today is many Christians don't forgive. It is not supposed to be this way. Forgiveness is supposed to be one of the core foundations of a true Christian. It seems only God forgives and many of His children don't.
Where there is unforgiveness you will find hate. It goes this way. Angry attracts hate, hate attracts bitterness, bitterness attracts frustration, frustration attracts depression, depression attracts struggle, and struggle consumes potential. This is the achievement of unforgiveness in the lives of those who refuse to forgive.
We are just wetting our feet. See you in the next section.
