Today we had the pleasure of supporting Prairie Heights elementary School with a ride along. Top contribution Reba got to spend time with us riding in the truck! It was our pleasure to be able to give the school this opportunity for their fundraiser.

From South Africa to Salem Center!

We had a pretty special visit at the station today! Two wonderful ladies visiting all the way from South Africa stopped by to see the fire department and spend a little time with us.

It’s not every day we get to welcome visitors from more than 8,000 miles away! We loved getting the chance to meet them, share a little about our department, and be a small part of their travels here in the U.S.

Thank you for stopping by and making Salem Center one of your stops!

Safe travels, and we hope you take a little piece of Indiana hospitality back to South Africa with you!
