🏑 Learn More About the Huntington Community Development Agency

Since 1977, the Huntington Community Development Agency (CDA) has been dedicated to expanding housing opportunities, preserving affordable housing, and improving the quality of life for low- to moderate-income residents throughout the Town of Huntington.

Through our Affordable Housing Program, CDA oversees a variety of rental and homeownership developments that provide opportunities for seniors, first-time homebuyers, workforce households, and income-eligible residents. Interested applicants can join the CDA Affordable Housing Waitlist through OpenGov to be considered for current and future housing opportunities.

In addition to affordable housing, CDA administers the Home Rehabilitation Program, which helps eligible homeowners make critical repairs through the Deferred Loan Program (0% interest) and Emergency Grant Program. The agency also supports the development of Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) to help create additional affordable housing options within our community.

Every year, CDA assists families, seniors, veterans, volunteer first responders, and working individuals in securing safe, affordable, and sustainable housing while helping homeowners maintain and improve their properties.

At the Huntington Community Development Agency, we are incredibly grateful for the volunteer first responders who dedicate their time, energy, and compassion to protecting and serving our community every single day.

With thousands of calls answered each year by a limited number of volunteers, the commitment and sacrifice shown by these individuals is truly remarkable. Their willingness to step up in moments of emergency and need does not go unnoticed.

While one week is never enough to fully express our appreciation, we want to recognize and thank all volunteer first responders for their continued service, bravery, and dedication to the Town of Huntington. Your impact on this community is immeasurable.
