Huron Area Hope And Blessings Inc

09/21/2026

With our week extremely full of events and kids needing to go all over, and me needing to get a few much needed projects done before it gets cold out, we are going to be closed for the week 9/21-9/25. I normally close for a small vacation break during the summer for a week and did not this year. So I decided before holidays and the cold arrive I would take my week to do some more work but at home :) I hope everyone has a wonderful week and we will see you next week for our regular schedule! Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 11am-5pm. As always thank you for all your continued support!!!

“If you care, leave it there.”

This time of year, it’s common to come across young wildlife, fawns tucked in the grass, baby birds on the ground, ducklings wandering near water, and more. It can be really tempting to step in, but in most cases, the best thing you can do is simply give them space.

What might look like an abandoned animal is often just mom nearby, watching and waiting for the right moment to return. Human interference can unintentionally cause stress or even separate them for good.

A reminder that The Outdoor Campus–Sioux Falls does not take in baby or injured wildlife, but we’re always happy to help you figure out what you’re seeing.

Thanks for doing your part to keep wildlife wild. 💚

We will be opening a little late today 5/12. We have a track meet here in Huron that started at 10am. One of our events is already done and we only have one other event our girls are competing in. So we are hoping we will be done and open by noon! Thank you for your understanding!!!
