Bonneville County offices will be closed on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day.

We encourage everyone to pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. We are deeply grateful for their courage and the families who supported them.

🚨The Idaho Transportation Department will begin scrub sealing highways in East Idaho on Tuesday, May 26th. Crews will generally work weekdays from 7am to 4pm, along with some Saturdays and nights. Expect reduced speeds, single-lane traffic, flaggers, and pilot cars in active work zones. 🚧️

Work will take place one roadway at a time in this order:
• US-26 Swan Valley to the Wyoming state line
• SH-31 Pine Creek Pass, Swan Valley to Victor
• SH-31 and SH-33 intersection in Victor
• SH-33 Newdale to Sugar City
• US-20 Sugar Salem half interchange
• US-20 South St. Anthony
• SH-47 Ashton to Warm River
• US-20 Ashton Hill

⚠️ Please slow down and stay aware to keep everyone safe during this important project that will help keep our roads in good condition for many summers to come!🚗

The Street Summit is part of a broader regional effort to improve coordination, communication, and transparency around transportation and infrastructure projects across the region.

The Board of Commissioners was honored to welcome Mike Simpson to the courthouse today to receive a flag flown over the U.S. Capitol on January 2, 2026, in recognition of America250. Thank you, Congressman Simpson, for helping commemorate this historic milestone as our nation approaches its 250th anniversary!
