Idaho and the Way Forward:
The Way Forward Is for All of Us

Candidate for Idaho House of Representatives District 32B Running for office isn't about me.

It’s about preserving and strengthening democracy. It’s about making sure everyone can thrive and prosper. It’s not about special interests or big money. I care about people and the planet, and I am driven to serve my community. Idaho is my home. It’s where I live, work, and play. I want it to be a great place not just for a select few, but for all of us.

My run for the legislature ended last night, but my choice to serve my community did not. One of the strongest guiding forces in my life is a desire to give back, and I want to encourage you to give back, too.

Even if we have losses in the realm of electoral politics, we must stay strong and resilient. In my experience, it's community that will carry us through the hardest times, and I believe that building up your community where you are is how you can create the most impactful change.

It can be as simple as raising kind children who are taught the importance of critical thought. It can be as simple as visiting a disabled neighbor or holding space for a trans person who is struggling. Or, you could volunteer your time to an important cause. You could start a conversation; you could start a movement. Whatever you do, think of ways you can give back with your skills, knowledge, talents, and time. Onward. No matter who our elected officials are, community is how we will persevere.
