A group from St. Lawrence Church in Muncie have been making handmade port pillows for our clients — small items that make a big difference in comfort during cancer treatment. These port pillows help ease discomfort from ports and seatbelts, while also serving as a reminder that our clients are supported by a caring community.

We are hiring! We are hiring a Client Services Representative to join our Program Team.

The Client Service Representative is key to Little Red Door Cancer Agency’s mission to make the most of life and the least of cancer for medically underserved cancer patients. The Client Service Representative will be directly responsible for completing intakes for new clients referred to Little Red Door and addressing the needs and concerns of current clients. This position is based in our Muncie office and serves as an active member of Little Red Door’s Program team. The Client Service Representative will report to the Chief of Client Services and Programs.

Yesterday, Little Red Door's Development Officer and Volunteer Manager, Robyn, was on FOX59 with Sherman Burdette for “Where’s Sherman.”

Robyn was invited to speak with Sherman and Michelle from Purses With Purpose!

Purses with Purpose is back for their 8th annual live and silent purse auction where a portion of the proceeds will benefit Little Red Door Cancer Agency. The event will feature a live auctioneer, male purse models, a delicious brunch, and courageous survivors!
This event is open to the public to attend! Purses with Purpose will be hosted at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Noblesville on June 6th

In partnership with IU Community Cafe, May's expert is Peter Gunderman, MD, MA! Peter will will explain how low-dose CT lung cancer screening works, who qualifies, and why so many eligible people in Indiana never get screened. He will also discuss what happens after a scan, what findings mean, and how you or someone you love can take the first step toward getting screened.

United Way of Central Indiana held their annual Go All in Day last Friday!

Go All in is their annual day of community volunteerism across Central Indiana. Volunteers from United Way and Central Insurance helped spruce up our garden and outdoor spaces. They helped pull weeds, remove trash, and take care of the plants.
