Our Christmas Light Story

This story is about an E.L.F. Not the elf that most people think of that works with Santa or sits of a shelf. This E.L.F. is an Extreme Lighting Fanatic. His name is Carl. It all started when Carl’s dad would drive around on Christmas Eve with Carl and his eight brothers and sisters looking at Christmas lights while his mom was home getting the house ready. Carl has many fond memories of those Christmas Eve nights and it was during those car rides that his fascination with Christmas lights began.

His very own Christmas display started with a lighted Nativity scene over 30 years ago. His Christmas displays grew each year but it was in 2011 when he started to become a true E.L.F. That was when Carl saw his first music & light show on a Christmas light tour. The next year he purchased his first Lights O Rama controller and the rest is history. The Christmas in the Woods display now features over 20,000 lights that are synchronized to over an hour of Christmas songs. You can enjoy the show by tuning in your car radio to 98.9 FM.
