The ribbon has been cut on Phase 1 of the Carpenter Nature Preserve in the Town of Zionsville - Government β and we couldn't be prouder to have played a role in bringing it to life.
The Indiana Bond Bank was honored to serve as a financing partner for this project through our Community Funding Resource (CFR) Program, which pools loans from multiple local units of government into a single bond issue β delivering affordable, long-term financing to Hoosier communities.
What was once the Wolf Run Golf Course is now a 215-acre nature preserve featuring trails, boardwalks, an outdoor classroom, Eagle Creek overlooks, and restored wetlands, woodlands, and prairies.
A heartfelt thank you to Jim and Nancy Carpenter, whose generosity and love for this land made it all possible, and to all the partners, elected officials, and community members who turned this vision into reality.

Town of Clarksville is investing in new spaces for learning and community connection! On March 12th, Treasurer Daniel Elliott joined the Indiana Bond Bank to visit Southern Indiana and learn about two projects supported by IBB's Community Funding Resource Program. The $670,000 investment will help build an outdoor education pavilion at the Falls of the Ohio State Park and a stage for community and live events as part of the Central Green Project. In partnership with GoSoIN, these projects will expand educational opportunities, create vibrant gathering spaces, and strengthen the community of Clarksville.
