We’re excited to bring some NEW experiences to this year’s Juneteenth Foodways Festival and continue creating intentional moments of culture, connection, food, and community ✨
This year, we’re partnering with The Testimony Service to kick off the day with Sol Sessions at the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site. Expect movement, meditation, music, and beautiful energy as we set the tone for a powerful day of celebration and reflection.
We’re also proud to introduce the Dolly Johnson Performance Stage, sponsored by Mirror Indy 🎤✨
The stage will feature:
• Live performances from BRAVE Drumline
• Food demonstrations with Tinker Street
• A Dolly Johnson reenactment presented by Freetown Village
We are so grateful for our sponsors, partners, and community who continue helping us grow this festival into something truly special each year
And don’t forget, the Juneteenth Foodways Festival is absolutely FREE to attend. We simply ask that you register in advance.
If you’d like to attend Sol Sessions, tickets can be purchased through the link in The Testimony Service bio.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you all on June 12th for a full day of culture, joy, history, healing, and community ✨
Thank you Eli Lilly and Company Foundation for making this celebration possible!

Before the engines roared at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, President Benjamin Harrison was already embracing the future of transportation.
It’s said that Harrison was the first U.S. President to ride in an automobile marking the beginning of a new era of speed, innovation, and progress.
This Race Day, we celebrate Indianapolis tradition, the spirit of innovation, and the legacy of moving history forward 🏁
Happy Indy 500 Race Day from the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site.

A desk built from history itself. ✨
This extraordinary 1890s marquetry secretary was crafted by an Ohio artisan using wood collected from historic sites across America, including a piece of Benjamin Harrison’s own fence. Recently acquired by the Toledo Museum of Art, it’s a stunning reminder of how history can live on through craftsmanship, storytelling, and preservation.
Imagine the stories held in every piece of wood.
