At this point, we believe the message that needs more attention is "firefighter air." We have joined the Firefighter Air Coalition, a non-profit advocacy group focused on "all things air" for firefighters. As of preview of the education it offers, take a minute to watch Ric Jorge, retired Palm Beach County firefighter and expert in tactical resilience. San Antonio Fire Department’s cancer prevention initiative becomes model for other fire departments The San Antonio Fire Department's Quartermaster program was started in 2019 as a pilot program. It has now become part of the city's annual budget and initiatives to minimize crews' exposure to cancer-causing chemicals.
