Reminder: Join the Indiana State Library on Wednesday, June 3, at 10:30 a.m. for a Firefly Early Literacy Award storytime! Participants will be read all of the nominated books and will be able to vote for their favorite! No registration is required for this free program.

Day one of "Wikipedia for Librarians and Information Professionals" is in full swing at the Indiana State Library. Librarians and information professionals are learning about utilizing DPLA and Wikipedia for institutions.

The Summer Lecture Series returns to the Indiana State Library this year with programs on DNA, medical history and probate records. We kick off the series on Saturday, June 13, with “Unlock Your Family’s DNA Story." Professional genealogist Angela Guntz will help attendees understand their DNA results, break through DNA mysteries and connect the dots in their family history. Indiana Library Passport participants are now, once again, able to claim a limited-edition Indiana Library Passport mug. When passport users check in to a library, they will earn points that they can redeem for the mug. Points are earned once per week, per library. The mug is only available while supplies last. Employees of libraries that participate in the passport are ineligible for prizes. Learn more about the Indiana Library Passport here: https://passport.library.in.gov/
