This Memorial Day, we remember and honor the courageous service members who paid the ultimate price while serving our nation.

Their sacrifice secured the freedoms we hold dear and continues to inspire generations of Americans.

In EMS, we know the value of answering the call to serve others. Today, we reflect on those who answered a greater call and never came home.

The Indiana EMS Association extends heartfelt gratitude to our fallen heroes and their families. May we never forget their sacrifice. 🇺🇸

EMS Week 2026 | We Care. For Everyone.

This week, we proudly recognize the men and women of EMS who answer the call every single day; often on someone’s worst day.

From emergency scenes on the roadside, to homes, schools, factories, sporting events, and hospitals, EMS professionals provide compassion, leadership, skill, and hope when it matters most.

To every EMT, Paramedic, Dispatcher, Educator, Student, Supervisor, and EMS supporter across Indiana, thank you for your dedication to serving your communities with professionalism and heart.

EMS is more than a career.
It is sacrifice.
It is teamwork.
It is service before self.

During EMS Week, we celebrate the providers who continue to make a difference every day across our state.

⏰ Two Weeks Left – Call for Abstracts

The deadline for abstract submissions for the Emergency Crossroads Conference 2026 is quickly approaching.

This conference is built on EMS and Emergency Nursing professionals sharing their experiences, research, leadership ideas, and educational programs with others across Indiana. Many of the best sessions come from providers who are doing great things in their own departments and communities.

Consider submitting a presentation on leadership, training, clinical topics, quality improvement, research, innovation, or case studies.
