A heart for the poor | The Indianapolis Star | indystar.com As a boy growing up in a tiny house during the Depression, Sidney Eskenazi scrambled to help his family pay the bills. He sold shoes, filled candy machines, cleaned toilets at Indianapolis parks and washed bags of potatoes at his father's produce business.

One year later, new Wishard Hospital is right on schedule Thursday, May 12th, 2011 marked the one year anniversary of the groundbreaking of the new Wishard Hospital.

This time last year, we were fighting through the rain to get ready for The New Wishard Groundbreaking.
