It's Captain Swanson here from the HMS Gryphon.

It's time for a roll call of all those would be able and willing to donate their time to help fun a fan table at Inconjunction on 4th July to 6th July!

I will be manning the table Saturday 5th, but unavailable Friday and Sunday, other than to drop off & pick up table. gear.

I can also lend my pod shot ingredients if anyone is willing to host pod shots at any of the parties.
(I need to be home early to look after the pups due to the world exploding)

Attention all HMS Gryphon members,

The annual Whosyercon TRMN attendance will be starting Friday afternoon around 5pm (or earlier if someone can get there) and will continue until around 3pm Sunday.

Captain Sherman Day and myself will be in attendance, along with a few fellow crewmates already RSVP'd, but we would appreciate any help available as we will be running a fan table and Roll pods during the weekend.

I'd like to welcome you all to 2025 and hope you are all doing well. It's coming up to the time of action across the state and I hope to have many become active once again.

1. Currently there is a fleet-wide Aerospace Wings Challenge using the Aerospace Wings awards program as well as the BuTrain pre-approved online AOPA courses currently going on. This is going on till April 30, 2025. If you've ever wanted to get wind for your uniform or your medal rack, and help out the fleet and ship, please register and go forth!

2. Our first event of the year, WHOSYERCON is coming up fast APR 18-20. We're hosting a fan table and pod shots along with our sister ship - HMS *Thunderer* and I'd love as many as possible to attend. Any able to help out at the table or pod shots would be most welcome and appreciated!

3. The future plans for 2025 are:

~Inconjunction fan table (jul 4-6)

~BBQ with sister ships in the area. I'm hoping to target around Jun - August. If anyone has a possible place/backyard please let me know, but otherwise I'll likely host it in Avon/Plainsfield!

The table will be run Friday night through to Sunday and any and all help will be rewarded!

TRMN: HMS Gryphon (SD-153)

Weekend Gaming night

To all hands of the HMS Gryphon,

Your XO is seriously missing having a constant board gaming group and is hoping that there are crew amongst the HMS Gryphon who feel the same.

I realise we all live at far distances from and around Indianapolis, but am hoping to find enough to start a small gathering at a Local Gaming Store and possibly move it around the compass to other LGS’s in the future.

My first proposition is to gauge interest in a Friday, Sat or Sunday night gathering at Family Time Games on the north-west. 29Th Jun, 1st Jul or 13-14 July are the dates I’m looking at.

As for first games, I was thinking Catan and Battlestar Galactica to start with!
