Congratulations to our friends at Tennessee Crisis Negotiators Association for successfully hosting their 2nd Annual Training Conference this week! Some of our membership even attended the Conference. We’re excited to see their Association grow. 🇺🇸🚔💪🦉

The Indiana Association of Hostage-Crisis Negotiators, Inc. were excited to have with us FBI Supervisory Special Agent Tim Healy reviewing The Alabama Bunker Incident, which was a special request for our newer (and younger 😉 ) association members. We closed out the conference with Kathy Voelker and Craig Hoffer presenting a debrief on an incident from Neenah, WI. 🚔🗣️🤳🕊️💪🦉

Day #2 of the Indiana Association of Hostage-Crisis Negotiators, Inc. 2025 Training Conference featured the state of Texas with Dr. Andy Young and Austin PD’s Ashley Luedtke. Andy took the morning with two great presentations on 8 and 10 hour standoffs and Ashely closed the day with a 31 hour standoff. We enjoy having great presentations for our Association! 🚔🤠🗣️🕊️🦉

The Indiana Association of Hostage-Crisis Negotiators, Inc. welcomed Therapy And Electronic Detection K9s from Madison County Sheriff, Bloomington Police Department and University of Notre Dame Police to our training conference. The dogs, Coal, Orla, Finn and Daisy offered plenty of comfort to our attendees during breaks and were well-received. We’re grateful for the dogs…and their handlers! 🚔😌🐶

Day #1 of the Indiana Association of Hostage-Crisis Negotiators, Inc. Training Conference featured Supervisory Special Agent Issac Nichols and NTOA Crisis Negotiation Section Chair Pat Doering with an AI presentation and “Monday Morning” incident debrief. We were glad to have them present! 🚔🕊️🦉

Earlier today, the Bloomington Police Department Honor Guard helped us kick off our Indiana Association of Hostage-Crisis Negotiators, Inc. 2025 IAHCN Training Conference with the posting of colors. We are in Fishers, IN this week for some great training featuring various debriefs and topical presentations. Training is an investment for each Officer, each department and each community. The Indiana Association of Hostage-Crisis Negotiators, Inc. strives to help provide each of our members the best possible chance of success when confronted with life or death incidents that all too often occur within this specialty of law enforcement. 🚔📢🗣️📞📱🕊️

The first day of our 2025 Training Conference has begun. We are excited to have great presentations from dynamic speakers for the next two and a half days. Stay tuned for updates of the conference! 🚔📞💪
