Our Spring Music Program was an incredible celebration of talent, creativity, and hard work as students in 1st through 4th grade took the stage for exceptional performances! 🎶✨

Our 1st and 2nd grade students delighted the audience with their fun “Pajama Party” theme, while 3rd and 4th grade students wowed everyone with an exciting showcase of music across genres. From outstanding solos and energetic choreography to confident singing and stage presence, our students truly shined!

A huge shout out to our amazing music teacher, Ms. Warfield, for her dedication and leadership in making this program such a success. We also want to thank all of our Special Area teachers and classroom teachers for their support and teamwork behind the scenes. We are so proud of our students and grateful for everyone who helped bring this wonderful performance to life! 🎤👏

Our 4th graders are in full planning and ex*****on mode for their upcoming Pancake Breakfast! 🥞💙 As part of their culminating service learning project benefiting Riley Hospital for Children, students are working hard to reach their goal of selling 150 tickets for the event.

This past week, a group of 4th graders visited our wonderful partners at the John B***r Neighborhood Centers to share about their cause and sell tickets. We are so proud of their hustle, motivation, teamwork, and dedication to making a difference in the community.

First grade had a blast with a fun bubble science experiment as they worked to determine which bubbles they should be blowing this summer! 🫧🔬 Students created four different homemade bubble solutions and compared them to store-bought bubbles to see which worked best. After lots of testing and observation, they discovered that bubbles made with Dawn dish soap and glycerin lasted the longest before popping!

What a fun and engaging way to practice science skills and spend our final Day 6 of the school year! ☀️🧪

Board Game Club wrapped up its final day with lots of fun, exciting games, and a yummy treat! 🎲🍦Students enjoyed friendly competition, teamwork, and laughter together. Thank you to everyone who helped make Board Game Club such a fun and memorable experience this year!

Last week during Staff Appreciation Week, we had the honor of celebrating the incredible teachers and staff who make TGNS such a special place every single day. Throughout the week, our team was spoiled with thoughtful experiences and generous support from our amazing community. From a delicious pasta lunch, curated goodies from our cherished community partners, and a beautiful Bloom Bar where staff created their own bouquets, to donuts generously provided by TGNS parents, every day was filled with appreciation and joy.

We wrapped up the week with a fun-filled joint celebration alongside our colleagues at Washington Irving Neighborhood School at the Fowling Warehouse, where staff enjoyed friendly tournaments of Fowling and Co****le and plenty of laughter and camaraderie together.

We are truly lucky to have such a hardworking, dedicated, and caring staff. Thank you for everything you do for our students, families, and school community each and every day! 💙🍎🌸

The countdown to 5th Grade Promotion is on, and our students are hard at work on a very special project for their big day! 💙🎓

From creativity and teamwork to laughter and memories, this project is helping us celebrate just how far these students have come during their elementary journey. It’s hard to believe their time at Thomas Gregg is beginning to wind down, but we are soaking up every moment together.

We can’t wait to share the finished product at promotion and celebrate this incredible group of students as they prepare for their next adventure! 🐾✨

The 5th Annual TGNS Egg Drop was an egg-cellent success! 🥚🚀

Our 5th graders put their STEM skills to the test as they designed and built creative containers to protect their eggs from a rooftop drop. Students worked through the engineering design process by planning, testing, revising, and cheering each other on along the way.

From parachutes to padding systems, we saw so much creativity, teamwork, and problem solving in action today! We are so proud of the perseverance and innovation our students showed during this hands-on learning experience.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this tradition possible. The excitement, laughter, and suspense of each drop made for an unforgettable day! 💛🐾
