WHO IS PROPHET UB RENE (Part 2)
The Man & The Journey Of Paradise Baptist Church aka Liberty Center Of All Nations (PBCLICOAN)

The name Paradise came from the scripture👇

Luke 23.43 - And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in PARADISE.

On August 10th 2026, the ministry will be twenty two years since the journey began. On this day, we will continue on the part two our focus will be on the birth of the ministry and how they moved to the city.

We pray may this little history about his faith journey inspire you and most especially the youths and the next generation to catch the fire of God in order to fulfill their destiny in Jesus name.

Paradise Baptist Church is a ministry that has been operating for almost twenty two years today. The Vision Bearer and General overseer of the ministy is Prophet Dr UBOH RENE EGHABI (Ub Rene) who is a native of Ngie (a village in Momo Division North West Region of Cameroon). On the 10th of August 2004, after the shrine was demolished in Paradise Street and the team of four including the man of God where leaving the compound of Pa Peter Fonge, while standing on the veranda, the man of God heard a voice from Heaven that said to him,
“START A CHURCH HERE, CALL IT PARADISE BAPTIST CHURCH"

When he shared the revelation with his Colleagues, they said it will not be easy because they need Sponsors to support them meet up with school needs. So starting a church will be a distraction because the young church or prayer cell cannot meet up with their school financial responsibilities. So the man of God was advised to look for a bigger church where he can go and be with them during holidays to raise money for his studies and that they can pass in pa Peter Fonge's house once in a while to pray and encourage the family.

Hearing this suggestion, the man of God said “NO”, I know the voice I have heard. I will start this week. And true to his words, the church started without delay regardless of the financial challenges the man of God had in school. Durning school hours other students will join him at Paradise street for deliverance sessions and that is how Paradise Baptist Church began in the Parlour at Pa Peter Fonge's house.

After about a year, the church moved to Government primary school Ekemba and in 2007 the church relocated to the upper section of Paradise Street and rented a house there and continue the work of God there. As the work of God continued to expand, the man of God moved from one service every Sunday to five services every Sunday and two on Wednesdays on the rented property.

For convenience sake, the church moved to another larger space within the same periphery and a larger tent was erected to accommodate the large crowd that came for the meetings and like the other one, it became small and we started running two large services every Sunday.

By 2010, the church acquired three plots of land close to Government primary school Ekemba in Paradise Street. When preparations were complete for the church building project to commence on the three plots of land, we were shocked to see Government Secondary School building established on the church property which had legal land certificate. Seeing the unfortunate situation, the man of God and the church leadership decided to follow up the battle administratively and prayerfully.

After about two years of waiting on the administration to settle the issue on the disputed land to no avail, then the man of God while in meditation received a shocking reminder message from God of a vision God gave him in the year 2005 while he was in the seminary. In that vision of 2005, God told him that he will build a church in a bush and bring development to that community. That was when it dawned on him that God was behind the construction of the Government Secondary School Ekemba on the church land. From that moment henceforth the Prophet instructed his team to forgive everyone who made things tough for the church in that locality and began asking God to show him the new bush location. A few months later in 2013, God showed him the bush where he would build a city called Paradise City. Even though there was absolutely no money available, our visionary leader stood firm on the voice of God and went forward and made negotiations for the land without knowing how he will pay for it. At one point he had to engage in heavy bank loans to purchase the lands from various landlords at that time. By the 11th of April 2014, the last money for the Land was paid in full.

That same 11th of April after the payment of the money for the land, the prophet took five brothers from the church to go and pray on new land and thank God. Before prayers, they sat down and discussed how they believed God will help the pay the huge loans and by 2021 the church will begin to develop the new land. As they entered into prayers, a strange thing happened. At 10pm that evening, the Lord Spoke to the Prophet clearly saying “I GIVE YOU SIX MONTHS TO PARK TO THIS PLACE” This was unbelievable. the man of God shook with trembling as he heard these commanding words and off course he knew for sure who was talking to him. Lots of questions ran through his mind. How are we going to develop this place while the church is owes banks heavy loans? With what are we going to develop this place. We already have a plan that in seven to eight years that is 2021 we will park here and start development. At the end of the encounter the man of God settled with God and said “LORD I WILL DO AS YOU HAVE SAID”.

The Servant of God shared this vision with the members that they were praying together and it was tough for them to believe because it was a forest but he had no choice than to obey the Voice of the Holy Spirit. In fact one of the leaders that night looked at the Prophet and said “IF NOT THAT I KNOW YOU WELL AND THAT GOD SPEAKS TO YOU, I WOULD HAVE OPPOSED WHAT YOU HAVE SAID BUT LET US DO AS YOU HAVE HEARD”.

The following service the man of God made it clear to the church the instruction the Lord had given and many people received the message with joy while some received it with mixed feelings. It should be noted that at this time, no one in the church knew where the new church land was located.

In July 2014, the man of God together with the entire church came to this place with cutlasses and chain saws and cleared the portion of land on which the tent of meeting will sit. After the clearing and felling of trees, then came a bulldozer to level the land and remove tree trunks. This period was a talk of the day in town as many mocked the man of God for moving the church into the bush while everyone want to do ministry in town. Many insu-lted him and the Christians for taking such a step. There were some inside the church who never believed that the Prophet had heard God well but that didn't change anything. Many believed and declared that it was the end of Paradise Baptist Church and the fall of the Man of God. But non of these things moved him.

On October 1st 2014, making exactly six months from the day God spoke to his servant, the man of God moved the church from Paradise street to this current location without any roof or foundation. Our first worship here was on that fateful Wednesday and we had to clear the grass from the area that was cleared in July. After clearing, we had our clean worship service with over eight hundred people in attendance. The mosquitoes and heavy rains that day could not stop us from worshiping and celebrating our God for the new worship center.

From then God began to move tremendously and mightily in the midst of his people. People began to contribute bags of cement for the work to begin and the man of God together with other members went to the stream on Mukonje village and removed sand for the building project. It was very tough but the work was done with great joy. He will transfer the sand in a borrowed Hilux from the stream to the church site making two or three trips to the stream daily for a period of about four months.

I will not forget to mention here that after the Church relocated from Paradise street to Paradise City, the minister of Territorial Administration signed a letter instructing the administration of Kumba to look for a new site or plot and compensate the church for the three plots they took to build Government Secondary School Ekemba. To this effect, 2 plots were given to the church in another location but we thank God that We had already gone far ahead into God's will.
With a strong message of Faith Hope and Love, God servant keep moving forward and breaking new grounds physically and Spiritually which has resulted in the healing and deliverance of thousands of people all over the world.

Lots of families have been delivered and blessed as well and the message and glory of God keep on getting fresher and fresher each day as the Prophet receives fresh revelations.
Several widows, widowers, orphans, less privileged families and IDP are benefiting financially from this ministry monthly thanks to the visionary leadership of God's Prophet.

This has resulted in him receiving several national and international awards as a recognition of his good work and impact on humanity and the community.

So we are here today to thank God that a place which appeared to be nothing has become something that is pulling the attention of people all over the world.

The prophet Jouney so far has not been easy but God has been faithful so far seeing the work progressive at all stages. The lives of many people have been reshaped. People are smiling, orphans and widows and institutions are happy because of the generosity of the ministry God gave his servant.

It should be noted that in 2013 God also instructed his servant to start a TV channel called Treasure TV and the man of God obeyed and began same year. This change has blessed many souls all over until 2023 when God spoke to his servant about the need to go on satellite to reach out to many nations. An instruction which the man of God heeded to and today, Treasure TV is showing forth the wonders of God all over the world through satellite broadcast.

Paradise Baptist Church today has over 25 branches within the Country, one in the USA and one in Dubai and they are doing very well. Through this ministry, many ministers of the gospel have been raised and empowered who who are still serving in other branches of this ministry while others who had their different visions were blessed and released to go pursue their assignments.

We keep moving from glory to glory we have greater visions and revelations in the mind of God's servant which for Personal - reasons he does not want to make them public for now and he is gradually working on them while following the angel of his assignment to guide him through each step.

To the Glory of God the man of God came to Kumba on assignment and we all can see today that truly God sent him here to bless us. Below pictures are drone coverage of the church building.
