Happy National Dairy Month!

Indiana is home to over 700 dairy farms, and each one brings something unique to our state’s story. Our dairy industry is as diverse as it is hardworking.

And here’s something to celebrate: Indiana ranks 15th in the U.S. for milk production, contributing more than 4.5 billion pounds of milk each year. That’s a whole lot of Hoosier dedication going into the foods we enjoy every day.

Here’s to the Indiana dairy farmers who keep our communities nourished, our traditions alive, and our state proud. Thank you for all you do.

Family farming is woven into Indiana’s story.

Across the state, generations put their hands to the soil, grow with the seasons, and carry forward traditions that endure. Today and always, it’s an honor to celebrate the Hoosier families who provide the fuel, food, and fiber that keep our communities strong and whose legacy continues to grow.
